Construction Plans

Construction window opens March 9th, and must be done over two consecutive weekends. Concrete work by Sione's Concrete Construction. Redwood Deck by Evolution Construction. Landscape Design by Rick Thall.

Weekend 1:

LEAD: Sione's Concrete Construction

Activities: Dig holes for deck footings, bridge footings, fence footings, and pad for sign and trash receptacle (day 1); Pour concrete footings and pad, set post anchors (day 2).  Let concrete cure till following weekend. We'll have spoils (extra dirt) from the footings, so we should look at where this should be moved.

NOTE1 : Posts will need to be covered to protect any people/kids from tripping on them. We will need to think about how to rope off the area as a construction zone. 

NOTE 2: Tadpoles have been identified in the pond during February by students. A protective barrier will need to be set up to protect the habitat during construction. Rick Thall has this. 

Weekend 2:
LEAD: Evolution Construction

Day 1:Frame wood deck, Set fence posts, Set bridge

Day 2:

Group Install decking and curb, Set fence cable, Set sign and trash receptacle (if procured by then)
